MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD & ACTIVATE THE CONSTITUTION

The primary focus of Kinya For Congress is working to INSURE YOUR VOICE IS ABSOLUTELY HEARD !  To few have any real confidence in the government or officials because too many have lost sight of the following simple fact " We the people are the government." I will work to insure that all of District 30 knows the U.S. Constitution as well as learn how to successfully activate it in everyday life. How will Dakinya Jefferson do that? By making sure our children are taught Civics from early childhood and making sure classes are available to instruct elderly of the importance and meaning . We must safeguard our freedom and liberty. Your vote is an integral part of your voice. Cast it wisely by insuring that the one you select to elect will be a true servant ,and not one acting as a Lord over the " WE". Rest assured that I, Dakinya ( Kinya ) Jefferson will be your eyes, ears, voice and servant working everyday to guarantee your voice is heard. I promise I will never place party over the people for it is the people who make the party and the sum total of our Great American Governance in this Republic called these United States. I will be HERE  ( Texas ) & THERE ( D.C. ) with an open ear & door for all the good people of our District. Vote RED - Ready- Elect- Dakinya ! BRING OPPORTUNITIES BACK TO THE COMMUNITIES

The Dallas Downtown Skyline stands tall as a beautiful beacon of the Light of Commerce and it's beaming prosperity which has flowed allowing for the growth & economic development of the Dallas Metro area. Although the world sees the beautiful skyscrapers as symbols of this prosperity, when one looks down on the streets of Dallas and it's attached Southern Sector known as District 30, it does not take long to see that abject poverty is knocking on many a door asking for a hand up with little hope of anything besides a few extremely limited handouts which DO NOT answer the door knock.  Why? Because too little economic advancement has occurred in this southern sector; however, there is extreme room for growth & Development there. The unfortunate truth is that a great deal of the people who live in this area  are predominantly  so called Black and Hispanic         ( people of color ) and they live well below the poverty level . The people in our District, whether young, old, rich or poor, are in dire need of "OPPORTUNITY" We have talked to the people and the bottom line is the need for industry with good paying jobs so they can address the needs of their own health , education, and welfare within their community.. I plan to work with the people on a blueprint to establish  the HOPE & FUTURE  which come with real OPPORTUNITY. We most definitely will work to address & tackle the Issues of BRINGING BACK OPPORTUNITY TO THE COMMUNITIES .  

RESTORE THE AMERICAN DREAM & RESOLVE HOMELESSNESS

It has long been said the the "American Dream is to have your piece of the pie", yet too many believe they have either never got a slice, someone stole their slice, others are receiving to many slices or the baker just kept the whole thing to eat for himself ! It appears that too many of the " WE" are experiencing an American nightmare. Vast numbers of our elders who worked all their lives paying into our tax system are having to sell their homes and can barley pay for food to eat. It appears the American Dream is more real for Foreigners who immigrate here than it is those who are born here and work by the sweat of their brow from sun up to sundown. Every American deserves the opportunity of affordable home ownership, self sufficiency, a little money saved away in the bank for a family vacation, a rainy day or to invest in a " Good Luck Duck" here & there . I will work to restore faith in the American Dream for the Southern Sector of Dallas. Many are one step from homelessness while many in the district …are indeed homeless. The homeless live in fear and those who observe their plight tend to fear & ignore rather than roar loud for officials to find real solutions to resolve the homeless crisis in the District. I will work to insure No TAXATION without representation ,so that people who have worked hard for their dream homes are not taxed out of them. Also I will work to help pave the path for those who are homeless to be able to become self sufficient ,so they can provide an affordable roof over their heads and be reintegrated into our society. There are too many elderly, disabled, lame ,mentally ill, and sick people on the streets of our district. I Absolutely will work to  alleviate the underlying problems leading to their plight, and  work to get as many people as possible housed ! We should not do more for animals than we do for humans. We need a more compassionate government ;that is why I will be conducting " A Texas Round Up For A Hand Up " for District 30. Divided we fall but united, we will always stand. United we will restore the American Dream & Resolve Homelessness.

BRING EDUCATION INTO THE 21st CENTURY FOR YOUNG & OLD

This issue has particular relevance for me. I will wholeheartedly work to advance education for the old as well as the young. I grew up in what was known as the " No child left behind "era ,Yet I was left behind. The public school system failed me and so many others who grew up in the 80s and 90s. I just recently became a high school graduate and I am now walking into my chosen career field of public service. It is year 2022, we are well into the 21st Century ,but we are still maintaining standards from previous centuries. We must modernize our educational learning styles and curriculum. We must initiate programs to tap into a child's natural gifs, talents and abilities. Other nations are dancing circles around the U.S.A. in the educational field, and most children of other nations generally speak 3 - 4 languages and are far more advanced than the average American child in math and science. We must learn how to make learning a thrill and necessity for our children. I support mentor programs for single parent homes. The elderly, need to learn how to use modern information systems. We are living in a digital word and too many over age 57 do not know how to access simple text messaging and the internet. We need a " No Adult Left Behind program" so those who were left behind or dropped out can catch up and become more productive citizens and happier people. We need to set in motion plans for school choice options. There is a need to reform the public school systems to conform to futuristic curricular needs. An emphasis must ne placed on science and technology. It is shameful that so many in our District are undereducated. We also need to bring back vocational programs with some geared  towards learning electronic systems so the children can learn to manufacture the products they use. Our world is changing and becoming more integrated and we need to change with the times. I am a firm believer that the parent first, then the state, has the right to determine the course of curriculum each child is taught. We must insure every child knows the basics of reading writing and arithmetic. I will work to bring Education into the 21st Century for young and old.

REDUCE OUR TAXES & CREATE INNOVATIVE JOBS

A working America is a prosperous America. Majority workers generate a great tax base with less need for high taxation for the masses. The poor most certainly should not bear a great tax load ; quite the contrary neither should the rich be over burdened. All should pay a fair share and I know of no good American who is not willing to be generous when there is need or when asked. To whom much is given much is required ".  Multi-billion dollar Corporations should not be able to hide in trusts and skip out on paying their part. Some of the richest of the rich pay pretty much $ 0. That is not fair to the poor and middle-class who are taxed heavy and struggle to maintain and make ends meet. We all have a role to play in order to form a more perfect union, promote the general welfare and provide for our future. I will work for efficiency and less wasteful spending in government. My mother always said her dad use to said, " sometimes you just got to rob Peter to pay Paul ," stop trying to live like the Jones s, and save for a rainy day. The tax codes need to be reformed and people need to be better educated on why and how we are taxed. Most do not understand taxation, and everyone who works for their dollar wants their whole dollar if they can keep it. I understand, yet we have an obligation and a duty to keep our nation secure, and thriving. The U.S.A. is a business ; all businesses need finance to operate effectively. When workers retire they deserve a good pension.

I will certainly be working to creating Small Business Innovation programs. We need to foster small business and promote industry in our Southern sector. Many innovative solutions must deal with our conversion to the digital world. We must gain Careers dealing with conservation, renewable energy sources, global warming and agriculture. Additionally  there are vast food desserts in our district and we must work to resolve these issues. We need more quality, healthy, whole food food stores in the district. I will work  to allocate funding for accessibility of these type pragrams.

IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR ALL AMERICANS

Although a great % of the people in the District live below the poverty line …all do not. There are many who fair well and live what most would consider a great middleclass or even rich lifestyle ,yet all deserve and want a better quality of life. When equilibrium is near or actualized , the load shifts and those who were bearing the weight are relieved and those previously in need of load sharing will have become stronger.  We all, As Americans must understand that it is ok to be our brother's keeper. There is a strange thing under the sun. One can be "up today and down tomorrow" ,but when we are there for one another, we all gain. Let's all stand tall and make our District the desired place to be! . I will work to Improve the overall quality of life for all in the district and MAKE THINGS BETTER for us all

INTRODUCE THE Y.A.H. G.O.D. ACTS ( Get Off Drugs ) (Generate Open Doors )

I will proudly introduce the Y.A.H. G.O.D. Act - You Are His / Get Off Drugs / this will heal what ills District 30. 

Preamble

We the People of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator ( YAH ) with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. ( Please read full declaration Of Independence below )

Over the course of the last generation ( 40 years ) A profound thing has happened; the moral fiber of our nation has been rip almost in half. We are in a great time of despair, fearfulness and worry for many. The future of life itself is so uncertain for many. When I heeded the call to run for this office, I  first prayed for direction ,then went and read the platforms of both the mainstream parties. The day I decided to run is the day I, as a Negro woman, decided to run as a Republican. I chose to do so because I realized that this platform lines up and conforms to biblical premises way more. The one distinct difference that makes so much sense is Right to Life vs Women's Rights. I am a woman and I believe in choice but I believe in right to life. "Life, to me, is always the right choice. It is written that thou shall not commit murder; killing one's own child in the name of choice denotes a serious breach in our moral fiber." Many of the people of color of my community see me as a traitor and believe that Republicans don't like or hate blacks. That may well be the case of some ,and no doubt the same exists on the opposite side ; however I stand on righteousness. I believe in our Creator that he is almighty , alive , and beholding the good & the evil in the land.  I certainly believe in Religious Freedom.

The quality of life for many is at an all time low. Many of those who were the youth of the 80s and 90s are now the grandparents of the parents of this NEW Generation. Several generations are yet reeling from the devastating after effects of the so called " war on drugs era." So many in the district have been in jail ,coming out of jail ,or about to enter an already taxed penal system. Most infraction's roots can be traced to drug sale or/use. Temptation because of poor economic factors left unchanged for too long led to yielding to that temptation. We need to pull up the roots of our problems and seed new solutions . This is why I choose to run in District 30 where so many either look like me or have come from the same socio economic background as myself. I believe and know that I am the right one  to be used to insure real change occurs. It's time for A Texas Round Up For A Hand Up in District 30. To Yah (GOD)  be the glory. May the Almighty Bless America, Texas and District 30.Furthe ,  I pray that each who read this take the time to cast a vote for Kinya For Congress, so I may win and go on to lead and speak by divine might for the betterment of the good people .

The Declaration OF Independence 

In Congress, July 4, 1776

The unanimous Declaration of the thirteen united States of America, When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.--That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, --That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.--Such has been the patient sufferance of these Colonies; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former Systems of Government. The history of the present King of Great Britain is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute Tyranny over these States. To prove this, let Facts be submitted to a candid world.

He has refused his Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good.

He has forbidden his Governors to pass Laws of immediate and pressing importance, unless suspended in their operation till his Assent should be obtained; and when so suspended, he has utterly neglected to attend to them.

He has refused to pass other Laws for the accommodation of large districts of people, unless those people would relinquish the right of Representation in the Legislature, a right inestimable to them and formidable to tyrants only.

He has called together legislative bodies at places unusual, uncomfortable, and distant from the depository of their public Records, for the sole purpose of fatiguing them into compliance with his measures.

He has dissolved Representative Houses repeatedly, for opposing with manly firmness his invasions on the rights of the people.

He has refused for a long time, after such dissolutions, to cause others to be elected; whereby the Legislative powers, incapable of Annihilation, have returned to the People at large for their exercise; the State remaining in the mean time exposed to all the dangers of invasion from without, and convulsions within.

He has endeavoured to prevent the population of these States; for that purpose obstructing the Laws for Naturalization of Foreigners; refusing to pass others to encourage their migrations hither, and raising the conditions of new Appropriations of Lands.

He has obstructed the Administration of Justice, by refusing his Assent to Laws for establishing Judiciary powers.

He has made Judges dependent on his Will alone, for the tenure of their offices, and the amount and payment of their salaries.

He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harrass our people, and eat out their substance.

He has kept among us, in times of peace, Standing Armies without the Consent of our legislatures.

He has affected to render the Military independent of and superior to the Civil power.

He has combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our constitution, and unacknowledged by our laws; giving his Assent to their Acts of pretended Legislation:

For Quartering large bodies of armed troops among us:

For protecting them, by a mock Trial, from punishment for any Murders which they should commit on the Inhabitants of these States:

For cutting off our Trade with all parts of the world:

For imposing Taxes on us without our Consent:

For depriving us in many cases, of the benefits of Trial by Jury:

For transporting us beyond Seas to be tried for pretended offences

For abolishing the free System of English Laws in a neighboring Province, establishing therein an Arbitrary government, and enlarging its Boundaries so as to render it at once an example and fit instrument for introducing the same absolute rule into these Colonies:

For taking away our Charters, abolishing our most valuable Laws, and altering fundamentally the Forms of our Governments:

For suspending our own Legislatures, and declaring themselves invested with power to legislate for us in all cases whatsoever.

He has abdicated Government here, by declaring us out of his Protection and waging War against us.

He has plundered our seas, ravaged our Coasts, burnt our towns, and destroyed the lives of our people.

He is at this time transporting large Armies of foreign Mercenaries to compleat the works of death, desolation and tyranny, already begun with circumstances of Cruelty & perfidy scarcely paralleled in the most barbarous ages, and totally unworthy the Head of a civilized nation.

He has constrained our fellow Citizens taken Captive on the high Seas to bear Arms against their Country, to become the executioners of their friends and Brethren, or to fall themselves by their Hands.

He has excited domestic insurrections amongst us, and has endeavoured to bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers, the merciless Indian Savages, whose known rule of warfare, is an undistinguished destruction of all ages, sexes and conditions.

In every stage of these Oppressions We have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A Prince whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.

Nor have We been wanting in attentions to our Brittish brethren. We have warned them from time to time of attempts by their legislature to extend an unwarrantable jurisdiction over us. We have reminded them of the circumstances of our emigration and settlement here. We have appealed to their native justice and magnanimity, and we have conjured them by the ties of our common kindred to disavow these usurpations, which, would inevitably interrupt our connections and correspondence. They too have been deaf to the voice of justice and of consanguinity. We must, therefore, acquiesce in the necessity, which denounces our Separation, and hold them, as we hold the rest of mankind, Enemies in War, in Peace Friends.

We, therefore, the Representatives of the united States of America, in General Congress, Assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the Name, and by Authority of the good People of these Colonies, solemnly publish and declare, That these United Colonies are, and of Right ought to be Free and Independent States; that they are Absolved from all Allegiance to the British Crown, and that all political connection between them and the State of Great Britain, is and ought to be totally dissolved; and that as Free and Independent States, they have full Power to levy War, conclude Peace, contract Alliances, establish Commerce, and to do all other Acts and Things which Independent States may of right do. And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.
